Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque just got engaged! The actress happily shared the news on social media today, July 19. She posted black and white photos of the heartwarming proposal that happened on July 18.

“It was a balmy afternoon in Las Casas. I was there for a shoot, but little did I know that the next thing that would happen would change our lives forever,” she wrote.
She said that during the shoot, celebrity photographer Mark Nicdao kept telling her to turn around to take a shot of the back side of her dress, which she found “a bit odd,” but as she turned around, Roque was already kneeling in front of her with a box in his hand.

“You see, I have done so many proposal scenes in my entire career, but nothing beats the real thing. I have been doing it all wrong! Hahaha, Dom said his speech, and it’s like time stood still,” she expressed.

Alonzo reiterated that everything went in slow motion and she felt different emotions, “I started bawling (swipe to see my ugly cry), But I didn’t want that moment to end. I want this real thing to happen forever… and right then there… In front of the people we love… we decided on forever.” [sic].

The newly-engaged couple started dating in August 2021.
