WhenInManila.com was invited to be one of the first guests to fully experience the newly-opened Midori Clark Hotel and Casino. We stayed there for a night to try its services. Here’s our quick take on this hotel.
Midori Clark Hotel and Casino just opened its doors in Clark, Pampanga. Although the brand-new hotel is still on its soft opening (grand opening is slated on October), you can expect excellent service and superior facilities to make for an unforgettable stay.
Situated in the bustling community of Clark, one of Pampanga’s most beautiful and strategic locations, it is just a stone’s throw away from the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and the Clark International Airport. Therefore, traveling to and from this hotel, by land or air, is absolutely hassle-free. It is also the perfect location from which you can explore the foodie capital of the country.
Midori Clark Hotel and Casino offers a tranquil space to rest and relax, surrounded by green and breathtaking environment. Side by side are the hotel where you can take the much needed R&R and the casino where you can try your luck on some slots and card games.
Inside the hotel, you’ll immediately get immersed in its high and wide spaces apt for a luxury hotel. Its lobby has a high ceiling with a comfortable receiving/waiting area. Walking on its wide corridors is very much different from other hotels in Pampanga that I have been in, which are mostly tight and cramped.
Midori Clark Hotel and Casino’s wooden design complements its outside surroundings. It gives a breath of fresh air especially for someone who is simply familiar to the crowded surroundings of Metro Manila filled with concrete buildings and honking cars rushing to wherever they are going.
Our stay definitely gave us that much needed break.
After experiencing Midori Clark Hotel and Casino, there are two noteworthy features that I feel unique to this hotel.
First, indulging on the in-room minibar will not incur additional expenses. Unlike other hotels that you wouldn’t want to touch the food and beverages on the in-room minibar due to their steep prices, you can eat everything without additional charges.
Second, they have rooms with an outdoor tub.
Come on. They have an outdoor tub!
An outdoor tub with a picturesque view? Why not?
In addition to this features, Midori Clark Hotel and Casino also has experienced and attentive staff that can cater to your every need. They also have an amazing breakfast spread served by experienced and courteous staff. However, since it’s still on its soft opening, I feel they will add more to the smorgasbord of scrumptious dishes.

What I missed though but hope to experience in the future is the hotel’s swimming pool. Since they are still on soft opening, the pool area is still under construction. But I heard it will be an amazing pool area!
But if you want to break some sweat, their gym is already functional. And you can also jog around the nice neighborhood of Clark if you’re the outdoorsy type.
Additionally, their massage services are exquisite. They really know how to take good care of you.
