Barbie Forteza opened up about her breakup with Jak Roberto.

In an interview with Toni Gonzaga on Toni Talks, Barbie was asked how she healed from her seven-year relationship with Jak Roberto, after publicly revealing their breakup earlier this year.
“Smooth ‘yung transition,” she said. “It wasn’t as painful as some painted it to be.”
“Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero it goes to show how healthy the relationship was. Tiningnan namin siya as for the growth rin talaga ng bawat isa (I don’t know why, but it just goes to show how healthy the relationship was. We saw it as something that also contributed to each other’s growth),” she added.
Upon being asked what she has learned from her seven-year relationship, the actress emphasized the importance of self-love.
“Kahit na may ka-relasyon ka (Even if you’re in a relationship), always make time for yourself. Always make time to spend it with yourself: Magkaroon ka ng me-time para may sarili kang identity, makilala mo ‘yung sarili mo (Make time for yourself so you can establish your own identity, you get to know who you really are) outside of the relationship,” she shared.
Now, the 27-year-old star has confirmed that she’s happily single and embracing her “self-love” era.
Barbie Forteza is a popular television personality who is best known for her acting performances in Maria Clara at Ibarra, Maging Sino Ka Man, and Pulang Araw. She is currently headlining the revenge drama series Beauty Empire alongside Kyline Alcantara.
