With the community quarantine upon us, you can’t blame us for dreaming of better times in the future when we can lie on the beach once again and live a more worry-free life. For your future travel plans, we’d like to share one of our favorite places in Boracay at the moment: The Auhana Boracay.
Boracay has been brimming with new life since its rehabilitation nearly two years ago. This 2020, feel the renewed energy at its fullest at The Auhana Boracay. The Auhana is the ultimate summer destination that promises everything a summer traveler seeks, and then some. You’ll get to enjoy all of the perks that come with Boracay – the sun, the sand, and the sea – but with a touch of luxury and privacy provided by the newest first-rate island resort in the country.
Curated to take the paradise experience in Boracay notches higher, this luxury resort elevates the meaning of life in paradise with exclusive facilities and superb service. Inspired by and pronounced as “ohana,” which is Polynesian for family, The Auhana covers seven hectares of the more peaceful stretch of Station 3, so you can enjoy Boracay’s azure skies and cerulean waters in peace.
Boracay in itself is already an escape, but Auhana is even more of an escape, thanks to the privacy and exclusivity of the place. They have their own beachfront – the longest beachfront among all Boracay properties at 330 meters! – if you want to avoid a crowd, but they are also close enough to the happenings in Boracay to enable you to enjoy everything that the island has to offer if you feel like it.
The beachfront aside, everything about The Auhana is top-notch and luxurious, including their facilities and accommodations.
They have 485 rooms spread under 14 categories. The Suite (pictured above) provides a luxurious 127-square meter space that comes with comfortably-appointed amenities, a French King bed, dining and living areas, and an outstanding view of the resort’s vast shell-shaped pool and the pristine blue sea.
All of the rooms have modern restrooms fitted with top-of-the-line-bathtubs and toilet seats for a truly opulent stay.
All accommodations also come complete with plush beds and duvets, a flat screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
Even the staff members are warm and attentive, catering to all of your needs during your stay and making sure you are as comfortable and as happy as possible.
If you’re not a fan of the sand or simply want to enjoy the view of the resort as you swim, you can forgo the 330-meter shoreline and take a dip in one of the resort’s three swimming pools instead.
The Tranquility Pool is a shell-shaped main pool that overlooks the sea, while the Tiki Hut Kids’ Pool is perfect for both children and adults to have fun in. The Sunset Dip Pool faces the beach.
If you find yourself getting hungry, you don’t have to worry despite the exclusive location of the beach, either, since The Auhana has three themed restaurants.
An eclectic blend of local, regional and international dishes is available al fresco at All Day Dining, while the best of Asian cuisine can be explored at Asian Eats. Finally, The Porch is the perfect spot to chill and enjoy food and drinks amid an amazing landscape.
Among the many quality offerings at The Porch are the special Malunggay Pizza, the ingredients of which are harvested locally at the resort’s vegetable garden.
The Auhana Cocktail drink is perfect for a wind-down during sunset.
Another option is the Bar & Lobby Lounge, where you can bond with your family or friends over snacks during the day, or share a drink to celebrate each other’s company later in the evening.
The Auhana also has other amenities to make your stay even more worthwhile.
If you need to relax, they have a spa that is perfect for you and your significant other or best friend. Offering an extensive collection of essential oils, the spa is known for The Auhana Signature Massage, which combines the best of Swedish, Shiatsu, Hot Stone, and Thai massages.
They also have a spa in case you want to get your hair or nails done during your stay.
Start your day right with a morning workout in their gym.
They also have a mini theater, a non-sectarian chapel, and function rooms. Auhana is also the first and only resort in Boracay to have its own blessed chapel, where families can pray for a fruitful 2020. The 51-square meter chapel can comfortably seat 80 guests, and is decorated with a dazzling stained-glass altar, as well as glass floor-to-ceiling window. It is also perfect for weddings.
Getting to and from Auhana is incredibly convenient, too, since they provide shuttle services until 10 in the evening. Should you miss the shuttle, you can also take a peaceful stroll along the beach instead; you’ll get there within 15 minutes.
From privacy and luxury to top-notch facilities and service, The Auhana Boracay definitely has everything covered, making it the ultimate destination for the summer and beyond.
