Ateneo ENTABLADO Pays Tribute to Andres Bonifacio
Sugod, Filemon Mamon!, tells the story of an impassioned and overweight student who strives to be Andres Bonifacio in their school play but due to his rotund physique, he is often type casted as the villain. In his journey towards his dream role, he meets multiple challenges but he soon realizes that his biggest hurdle is himself.
More than an entertaining children’s play, Ateneo ENTABLADO promises that Sugod, Filemon Mamon! feeds its viewers’ historical consciousness and brings the legacy of the great Katipunero to stage.
According to Ateneo ENTABLADO, it also hopes to give its young viewers nuggets of advice on identity, improvement, and courage.
Sugod, Filemon Mamon! runs from November 19 to 23 and November 26 to 30, 7:30 P.M, November 23 and 30, 2pm at the Rizal Mini Theater, G/F Faber Hall, Ateneo de Manila University.
