Asian Persuasion was the recipient of the Audience Choice Award at the recently held Soho International Film Festival.
KC Concepcion, who stars in the film, announced on Instagram, “Out of over 100 film entries at the @sohofilmfest, “Asian Persuasion” won the AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD for full-length feature! Ang saya 🥹”
She added, “Congratulations to our director, and three-time Tony Award winning producer @jhett.tolentino – and big love to the entire production! 🎥✨🍿”

In the comments section, the director responded, “I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! Your time has FINALLY arrived to do an international film! You surely have what it takes to have spot in Hollywood.”
He also said, “This is just the beginning, more things to come!”
Asian Persuasion follows an underachiever with an outlandish plan to avoid alimony obligations to his fashion executive ex-wife.
Concepcion stars with Dante Basco, Kevin Kreider, and Paolo Montalban. They are joined by Tony Labrusca, Rachel Alejandro, Apl.de.Ap, Geneva Carr, Celia Au, Scarlett Sher, Yam Concepcion, Ami Sheth, Janice Sonia Lee, Fe de los Reyes, Jax Bacani, Sini Hill, Cynthia Casasola, and Renee Rogoff.
