The lady behind these astounding bayongs is Tin Sarmiento. She is a local artist who loves to draw and paint. As a matter of fact, she started her business by selling hand-painted sneakers.

Then, later on, she expanded to selling hand-painted bayongs. With that, her online business grew even more and lots of her customers are very fascinated with her work.

However, despite her gift and talent, Tin is suffering from kidney failure and every thrice a week, she undergoes dialysis treatment. With this kind of illness, painting has always been her escape. Her safe haven in other words. Doing arts and crafts brings so much joy to her that sometimes it helps her forget all the pain she’s dealing with.
Now, since people have noticed all her gorgeous works, all proceeds are being used for her dialysis treatment. Ika nga #BayongForACause. You don’t only get to flaunt a beautifully hand-painted bayong, you also get to help a sister who’s in need!
