In an interview with Australian magazine TV Week, Liam Hemsworth reportedly straight up said, “I am not engaged, no.”
This statement from Liam puts a little twist into things as Miley Cyrus was recently seen wearing her 3.5 carat engagement ring given by Liam way back before their split in 2013.
So could Liam be totally bluffing? After all, in the same interview, Liam admits that he likes his privacy. “It is what it is and I am not someone who is looking for any more attention that I have and I try not to draw attention in any way,” the actor apparently says. “I don’t do things that do draw attention. So most of the time I fly under the radar. There is a lot of attention there but I did have a helicopter flying over my house for a while.”
After a three year split, Miley and Liam were first spotted back together at a music festival in Australia earlier this year. They’ve been spotted countless times since, together and, oftentimes, looking cozy.
Despite all the years apart, the two have always been publicly open about their feelings for each other, with Miley even releasing a song last December that does seem like was meant for the actor.
Well, whatever the deal is with these two, we’re just glad they’re getting a second try at their relationship, ‘cos this certainly looks like #truelove.
