From the COVID-19 pandemic to the ABS-CBN shutdown, Angel Locsin has repeatedly shown us that she is not one to take things lying down. Whether it be raising funds or rallying support, the Kapamilya star has been relentless in recent months.
Just a few days ago, Angel let that same spirit shine through by penning an open letter to the government. She posted the call on her Instagram story:

“To whom it may concern, make sure you have plans for the many workers & business owners who lost their income,” she begins.
“Ang daming time pag-initan ang ABS, i-prioritize pa ang renaming ng airport, anti terrorist bill, pero ang kailangang marinig ay ang plano tungkol sa Covid & frontliners, plano sa edukasyon para sa mahihirap na walang access sa internet o magturo sa bahay, balik probinsya, OFW’s na stranded sa ibang bansa, kabuhayan ng nawalan ng trabaho, paano na ang tradisyunal na jeepney drivers? Paano ang mga senior citizens? At sa kung ano kakaharapin ng masang Pilipino pagkatapos ng pandemya,” the letter reads.
Angel signed the letter as a ‘taxpayer’, reminding everyone that we all have the right to demand accountability from our government by virtue of the social contract.
