Angel Locsin is working together with her fiancé Neil Arce and an unnamed local government unit to build sleeping quarters near hospitals for healthcare workers and frontliners. They hope to provide more accessible rest areas so transportation will no longer be a problem.
The actress shared a call for donations on her Instagram, beginning it with: “I understand that life is hard right now, so we’ll refrain from asking you for financial donations. Instead, we would like to ask you for stuff that you already have.”

“We, with the assistance and recommendation of the local government, are setting up sleeping tents within hospital premises for our health workers in the frontlines so they don’t have to worry about where to stay & transportation,” she continued.
Angel then requests for friends in the industry (or anyone with available folding beds) to give up their taping beds for our health workers. She makes special mention of friends Angelica Panganiban, Anne Curtis-Heussaff, and Bea Alonzo who have all already willingly donated their taping beds to the cause.
She adds that donations for bottled water are also welcome.

“We acknowledge that this is a challenging time for everyone, but we also know that we, Filipinos, are strong & resilient, especially when united. We made it through Ondoy, Yolanda, Mt. Pinatubo, and Taal eruption, and we will surely overcome this as a nation,” she ends encouragingly. “This is a plea to everyone to support our dear frontliners. Let’s help them save lives!”
