Andi Eigenmann is now engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Philmar Alipayo. The actress and surfing champion shared the happy news on their social media pages today, December 20th.

I never thought about how my engagement would go because quite honestly, I didn’t think I’d have one. It would’ve been ok regardless, but it did happen. And it happened the way I wanted it and so much more. Nothing grand. Unprompted, simple and oh so sincere. That’s us. That’s him. That is how I want the rest of my life to be. I am over the moon, so stoked to be spending it with you my mahal @chepoxz!

The engagement happened during their recent vacation. The past week, Andi had been sharing pictures of their little family spending time at a resort in Anilao, Batangas. The proposal was a very intimate one — sitting at the balcony of their room, Philmar told Andi how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, and there surprised Andi when he pulled out a ring and proposed. Amidst the happy tears, the two even had a funny moment when they realized they weren’t sure which hand to put the ring on: left or right?

The newly engaged couple first met in Siargao during Andi’s vacation. Andi had previously shared that they were friends for a while, before dating in 2018. Andi, who is also a surfer, moved to Siargao in late 2018. In 2019, their first-born Lilo was born. The two are currently expecting baby number 2. Andi also has an older daughter, Ellie, from a previous relationship.
