All Seasons of ‘Dawson’s Creek’ are Coming to Netflix

I don’t think I’ve been this excited for an old series to come to Netflix before. Before shows like ‘The O.C.” or “One Tree Hill” made it big, we 90s kids had one teenage show we looked forward to every weekend: ‘Dawson’s Creek’.

‘Dawson’s Creek’ was a first of its kind for me. Running from 1998 to 2003, the series focused on high school friends Dawson Leery (James van der Beek), Joey Potter (Katie Holmes), Pacey Witter (Joshua Jackson), and Jen Lindley (Michelle Williams) navigating through teenage life, career dreams, and first loves.

It came at the perfect time for me – when I was entering the teenage world myself – and I remember collecting books of the series and hanging up posters of Joshua Jackson on my walls. Let’s just say: the nostalgia is so real right now.

Dawsons Creek

I haven’t watched ‘Dawson’s Creek’ since the 90s so I am excited to re-watch it with fresh eyes and a more mature outlook in life.

Netflix has officially confirmed that the show will be streaming on Netflix Philippines starting on November 1, 2020 – but with one change. Apparently, the catchy title song ‘I Don’t Want to Wait’ will not be played in the episodes and will instead be replaced with ‘Run Like Mad’ by Jann Arden.
