Fans have spoken: Alden Richards is still the Sexiest Man in the Philippines this 2019, after topping Starmometer’s list last year.
Richards garnered 56.9% of the votes, beating Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, Dingdong Dantes, and James Reid.
According to the entertainment blog, the criteria was based on 30% charm, 40% physique, and 30% popularity index.

This is Alden’s second time on the top, following last year. Reid topped the list in 2016 and 2017, while Xian Lim was #1 in 2015.
Richards is on a roll. This year, he starred in the hit film Hello, Love, Goodbye. It was declared as the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, earning P880,603,490 as of September 3, 2019. He stars as Ethan, a bartender who falls in love with Kathryn Bernardo’s Joy, as they face struggles as migrant workers in Hong Kong.
In August, he was awarded the Asian Star Prize at the 2019 Seoul International Drama Awards, in recognition for his excellence in television drama productions worldwide. The awards were held at the Grand Peace Hall of Kyunghee University in Korea.
