Whether her retirement is related to the statement above or not, Georgia Fowler, who is also walking in this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show, earlier let slip to Grazia that this might indeed be Adriana’s final runway. “It will be her last year, I think,” she said.
To celebrate her career with Victoria’s Secret on Instagram, Adriana posted a video montage of her previous appearances in Victoria’s Secret fashion shows with the caption: “Dear Victoria, Thank you for showing me the world, sharing your secrets, and most importantly not just giving me wings but teaching me to fly. to the best fans in the world! Love, Adriana”
Adriana Lima has been walking for Victoria’s Secret since 1999 and she officially became an Angel a year later. Over the years, the only show she missed was the one in 2009 when she was pregnant. Adriana’s exit comes after Alessandra Ambrosio hung up her wings last year.
