A Quiet Place: Part II Has Finished Filming And We May Have Just Been Given Our First Look At It

John Krasinski made his name as a director for the film A Quiet Place back in 2018. After receiving the warmest of welcomes from audiences, a sequel to the thriller was unsurprising. But aside from knowing about its existence, details have been kept mum on Krasinski’s follow-up film.

The first real tidbit we’ve gotten for A Quiet Place: Part II was tweeted by Krasinski himself last September 26. He posted a celebratory tweet announcing the wrapping of production on the sequel. He wrote: “Well… that’s a wrap on #PartII See you on March 20th!” Along with it was a photo himself walking hand-in-hand with Emily Blunt (as Evelyn Abbott) on a bridge previously featured on the first film.

There is speculation that the photo is actually a first-look at the movie since it clearly has a familiar character in a familiar setting. Fans theorize that the photo may be a still from the movie or a behind-the-scenes look. However, it’s just as likely that the photo is simply a throwback from shooting the first movie.

Speaking vaguely on what we can expect in the sequel, Krasinski expressed: “[With A Quiet Place: Part II], we have the world. So it’s actually the world that’s built, it’s the idea that the rest of the world is going through this exact same experience.

“Are there other people that have to survive like this? It’s that idea of living through the set of circumstances, not again in the same way obviously, but exploring it more. You only got to do it intimately for a small amount of time, so what happens next.”

What do you think the photo could be?
