The game recently introduced an optional microphone detection feature, allowing players to use their microphones to pick up real-life noise, enabling the monsters to hear them both virtually and in real life!

As the trailer shows, even a vibration sound can attract the monsters, so make sure you’re playing the game in a quiet place.

Developed by Stormind Games and published by Saber Interactive, “A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead” is based on the “A Quiet Place” movie series. It is a single-player survival game that follows the journey of Alex, a young college student suffering from asthma, as she struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic world with her boyfriend, Martin while searching for a safe place for herself and her family.

Like the movie, the game features sound-sensitive monsters that players must escape. “A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead” will be launched on October 17 on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.

Meanwhile, “A Quiet Place Part III” is currently in the works and is set to be released in 2025.
