November 11 – “Double Eleven” – a date set by the Knights of Columbus, Council 8205, as one special night as they gather the living legends to perform together before we all lose the opportunity to see them again in our lifetime.
A “NIGHT with the KNIGHTS” at the Music Museum is a double treat to watch these legends with fellow Knights, families, and friends as we relive their famous songs in the Philippine music industry.
Indeed, it is a night to remember the famous hip swaying choreography of Asia’s Queen of Songs, Ms. Pilita Corales, the romantic and teasing gestures of the ever-gorgeous Ms. Carmen Soriano, the greatest crooner of his time and beyond, International Balladeer Jun Polistico, and the violin wizardry and humor of maestro John Lesaca.
The concert is brought to you by the KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS, Council 8205, Holy Family Parish Church of Barangay West Kamias. The Council’s Grand Knight is former Congressman of District 3, Quezon City, Mat V. Defensor, whose major objective is to actively involve the Knights of Columbus in various community-related charity projects to help the less fortunate and less privileged members of our society. The event is just the beginning of many projects of the Council aimed to raise funds for their various charity events lined up for the remainder of 2017 and for 2018. The event is in cooperation with the PASTORAL PARISH COUNCIL of the Holy Family Parish Church.
Their first medical/dental and feeding program is scheduled on November 05 and will be scheduled every first Sunday of the month. This shall be a continuous project which shall also include Barangay East Kamias and Barangay Pinyahan of Quezon City.
