The WhenInManila.com team marked our annual holiday dinner at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Bonifacio Global City. For some of us, including myself, it was a first-time Wolfgang’s experience, and from the moment we stepped in, it was clear this dinner would be memorable.

We started with French onion soup and mushroom soup, both rich, warming, and perfectly seasoned. The crab cake was a crispy, flavorful standout, and the Caesar salad offered a refreshing balance before the main event.

For the mains, Wolfgang’s delivered steakhouse perfection. The Tomahawk steak was juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection, pairing beautifully with sides of mashed potatoes, creamy spinach, French fries, and steamed asparagus. Each bite reaffirmed why Wolfgang’s has a reputation for serious steaks.

Desserts weren’t just an afterthought—they were a show in themselves. From New York-style cheesecake to chocolate mousse, crème brûlée, and key lime pie, every dish was indulgent.

But the highlight was Baked Alaska Flambé, set aflame at our table. The dramatic presentation was only matched by its sweet, airy, and perfectly baked interior—a true holiday showstopper.
