Ever since I started working from home, I’ve become more reliant on my mobile data network. This made me look at how much I was spending on data every month and I was surprised at the cost. After all, I use my data outside of work, too. I use it to stream movies and series, play mobile games, and browse social media.
This made me check out other networks and their data promos, and that’s how I discovered DITO. The network has great data promos and other benefits. So I decided, I’m moving to DITO.

A network that offers competitive rates and good deals is important to me. For just P39, I can get 3GB of data that’s valid for 15 days. This also comes with unli DITO-to-DITO calls and texts, and 100 minutes of calls and unli texts to other mobile networks.

It’s easy to buy SIM cards online
If you want to make the switch but you don’t want to leave home, don’t worry. You can buy DITO SIM cards on Lazada and Shopee. A DITO starter pack with 3GB of data is just P49, while a SIM with 25GB of data costs P179. There’s also a SIM bundle that costs P133 and comes with 13GB of data. Whatever your budget, there’s a SIM card and promo for you!
I can get a DITO SIM without changing my number
Switching networks can be a hassle since you’ll have to change numbers but that’s no longer the case! Republic Act 11202, also known as the Mobile Number Portability Act, means you can keep your old number even if you switch networks or change your subscription from postpaid to prepaid (or vice versa), free of charge. There’s no need to message people telling them to save your new number.
Entertainment promos on the DITO app
There are tons of entertainment promos, whatever your hobby. Are you a gamer? You can buy Garena Shells, Mobile Legends diamonds, and top up on UniPin.
If you like binging movies and TV shows, you can subscribe to HBO GO for Hollywood blockbusters, WeTV for Asian content, and Vivamax for local movies and teleserye. The streaming services charge P149 a month. Vivamax has more subscription options, like P49 for one week and P29 for three days.
I can redeem products and services with DITO Rewards
DITO Rewards is a loyalty program where you can earn points when you top up, avail of promos, or even update your accounts.
Some of the rewards you can redeem are 500MB, 1GB, 3GB, and 5GB open data access, and data access to your fave apps like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Twitter, TikTok, Viber, Whatsapp, or Youtube. These are all valid for 30 days! More rewards will be offered soon so we’re excited for that.
