Former Miss Universe Philippines Rachel Peters and Camarines Sur Governor Migz Villafuerte just tied the knot on July 16, Friday, as they commemorated their seventh anniversary as a couple.
The two married in a civil wedding ceremony at the Supreme Court, as revealed in an Instagram post on Rachel’s account on Saturday.
“Celebrated 7 years together by making it official,” she said in the caption.
Migz also took to his Instagram account to share plenty more photos taken during the ceremony as he expressed his love for his wife.
“Mr&Mrs V,” he wrote. “Thank you to Chief Justice Gesmundo and Justice Gaerlan for the honor of Marrying us. I love you so much @rachelpetersx! You are my dream woman.”
He also revealed that they plan on having a bigger wedding ceremony next year with friends and family. “I [can’t] wait to marry you again next year with all our family, friends and most especially our little one coming soon.”

They got engaged in November 2019. Rachel then revealed in May that she is expecting her first child with Migz after deciding to start a family following the postponement of their wedding last year due to the pandemic.
“18 weeks of growing and loving you. You’re a dream come true our little chickpea,” she said at the time of her pregnancy announcement.
