The Queen already sent her well-wishes to the couple. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, also sent over a gift.

“We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie,” they said in an Instagram post.

The decision to name their daughter after Prince Harry’s mother and grandmother was “very important” to the Duke of Sussex. As explained by a close friend of the royal to Vanity Fair, “He loves and respects his grandmother. For Harry these are two very important and meaningful names.”

Baby Lili is now eighth in line for the British throne.
