If you love matcha or just want a new café to try, there’s a new spot worth checking out at Power Plant Mall. Fully Booked has just unveiled its refreshed space—and right next to it is Wasachi, a matcha café from Roppongi, Tokyo, making its debut in the Philippines.

The minimalist café keeps things simple, serving drinks that let matcha take the spotlight. You can go for the Pure Matcha (hot or iced) if you like it strong and straightforward, or the Matcha Latte—best paired with oat milk—for something creamier. Wasachi is also introducing a Mango Matcha Latte, a Philippine-exclusive drink that balances local sweetness with the earthy taste of matcha.
For dessert, there’s plenty to love too: the Matcha Affogato, Matcha Mascarpone Tiramisu, and Pistachio Matcha Éclair all bring a fresh twist to the familiar flavor.

Wasachi first opened in Tokyo last year and quickly gained a following among locals and travelers alike. Its matcha latte even caught the attention of Michelin-starred chef Daniel Calvert, who called it the best in Tokyo, while Tatler Asia named its matcha cookie one of the best around.
Fully Booked managing director Jaime Daez first discovered Wasachi during a visit to Tokyo.
“I wasn’t really an avid fan of matcha until I tasted Wasachi. It completely changed my perception, and I knew I had to bring it home,” he shared.
Now open beside Fully Booked x Kinokuniya Power Plant Mall, Wasachi Café is a cozy new stop for anyone looking to enjoy a good read and an even better cup of matcha.
