GANAP Performing Arts Marks 9th Anniversary with HAYAG: A Concert of Faith and Hope

On November 23, 2025, the curtains will rise on a historic moment in Philippine performing arts as GANAP Performing Arts Association Inc. celebrates its ninth founding anniversary and the inauguration of GANAP Studios with a soul-stirring concert titled HAYAG: Mga Awit ng Panalangin, Paninindigan, Pag-asa, Pag-ibig at Pasasalamat.

More than a performance, HAYAG will be a consecration—a radiant offering of sacred, gospel, spiritual, and Filipino songs that embody the heart of GANAP’s mission: to transform adversity into purpose and talent into service. In a time marked by corruption scandals, economic strain, and the devastating impact of typhoons, floods, and earthquakes, this concert stands as a timely act of collective prayer, conviction, and hope. As the featured highlight of Season PANATA, HAYAG marks the fulfillment of a sacred vow and the beginning of a new chapter—a musical declaration that even amid crisis, faith and artistry can illuminate the path forward.

From its humble roots as a student ensemble of gifted yet underserved youth, GANAP has grown into a multi-disciplinary force for cultural empowerment—earning international acclaim, national recognition, and the trust of communities it continues to uplift. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Agoy Patacsil, GANAP has gone on five international concert tours, performed for the Holy See, received honors from the US Congress and the Quezon City Government, and been featured in both local and American television shows.

Now, after years of rehearsing in borrowed spaces and dreaming of permanence, GANAP will unveil its greatest milestone yet: GANAP Studios—the first-ever self-funded performing arts center built by a Filipino non-profit for impoverished but talented youth. Spanning 90 square meters, this sanctuary will house a dance and recital studio, a recording studio, and a multimedia studio. It is a home born of prayer, resilience, and collective grace.

HAYAG is not just a concert—it is our offering, our prayer, our vow,” says Dr. Patacsil. “It is the fruit of nine years of unwavering devotion to the transformative power of the arts. Every note sung, every movement danced, every story told is a testament to the divine orchestration behind our journey.”

Season PANATA, which frames this celebration, draws its name from the Filipino word for devotional prayers. It reflects GANAP’s spiritual compass and its commitment to honor the divine source of its artistry. In numerology, the number nine signifies completion and spiritual maturity—fitting for a season that marks the end of GANAP’s first chapter and the sacred promise of the next.

Proceeds from HAYAG will support the furnishing and equipping of GANAP Studios and fund outreach programs that bring music, theatre, and hope to vulnerable communities across the country.

Limited seats are available. Reserve early and be part of this historic moment.
