But with bars closed—no thanks to the pandemic—and Oktoberfest being reportedly canceled in Germany (yikes!), people have been taking the drinking experience to their homes.
Pretzel brand Snyder’s of Hanover is no exception. Out of sheer FOMO or “Fear of Missing Oktoberfest”, it launched a beer and pretzel combo.

In partnership with Captain Lawrence Brewing Co., this snack food company launched the Snyder’s Pretzel Keg for the ultimate at-home Oktoberfest festivities. It consists of a 5-liter keg of Marzen-style Oktoberfest brew and a 27-ounce canister of Baked Pretzel Rods stacked on top.
The mini keg comes with a nozzle that’s easy to work, so just grab your glass and release the booze. Said drink features notes of toasty bread, honey, and a subtle splash of chocolate. As for the pretzels? Same crunchy and salty, good fun.
This limited-edition keg is available for $49.99 (around PHP 2,420) starting October 7. it will be available in SnydersPretzelKeg.com or at Captain Lawrence’s taproom in Elmsford, New York while supplies last. And sadly, it isn’t available in the Philippines just yet, but we do hope they release a similar version for us booze-loving folk.
