The Weeknd is Back with His First Full-Length Album in Four Years

After much anticipation, The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) is finally back with his album, After Hours. Following the release of My Dear Melancholy, in 2018, this The Weeknd’s first full-length album since Starboy in 2016.

The 14-track album features upbeat songs like Heartless and Blinding Lights, which have both been released prior to the album. On the other hand, songs like Scared to Live and Save Your Tears dive deep into the R&B singer’s emotions as he sings about his failed relationship.

Rumored to be about the singer’s relationship with model Bella Hadid, the album is reminiscent of the dark sound of his early project, Trilogy. The album also has no features, which is a first for the Canadian singer.

Earlier today, the singer also tweeted that he is dedicating this album to a fan that passed away, calling him one of the true original backbones of his fan base.
