She shared that spinning played a significant role in helping her bounce back from the lowest point in her life and that she constantly finds refuge in it whenever she feels troubled or lost. “I became an instructor because I want to help others realize how strong they are and could be, that they could achieve anything they set one hundred percent of their hearts and minds on—inside and outside the bike room,” she adds.

Currently, she is in her 5th year of study in Applied Math/Finance minor in Data Science and Analytics at the Ateneo De Manila University. She is also a competitive athlete for most of her life and is part of the ADMU golf team. She also occasionally plays for the Philippine Ladies Professional Golf Tour as a guest amateur.

Angela Rayos del Sol instantly got hooked on indoor cycling when she first tried it almost two years ago, but she only recently decided to be an instructor, motivated by her passion for performing on stage and her desire to let her audience be part of that magic.

She says: “Whenever I’m up on the podium, it’s a two-way connection—it becomes less about you and more about your students; it’s not just being confident under the spotlight, but creating that connection with everyone inside that room and sharing your energy to let them shine; it’s not just performing, but igniting that inspiration in every rider’s heart; it’s not just playing DJ and putting in my favorite tracks, but using music to uplift people’s spirits; and it’s not just about dancing up there, but trying to get everyone to dance along and enjoy the ride of life.”

When she isn’t in the studio, Angela manages her swimwear brand Las Islas Swim and handles the marketing of Potato Corner, which she claims makes her living proof that you can always enjoy the best of both worlds—staying active and eating the food you love.

“I am constantly reminded that being an instructor isn’t really about me getting that workout done but it’s all about reaching out to others and learning from one another,” she adds. “In Team Electric’s words, STRONG ON OUR OWN, UNSTOPPABLE TOGETHER.”

She loves that spinning doesn’t feel like a workout, and yet the physical impact it makes is exceptional. “I teach to pay it forward, to share the wonderful experiences I’ve had riding in Electric Studio, and to help riders feel the power and the beauty that they all have inside,” she shares.

When she isn’t teaching spinning, she’s teaching and practicing yoga, slow resistance training, and athletic coaching. She’s also into martial arts and movement arts, namely Capoeira and Pole Dancing.
