The Witcher series has been in development since 2017. In 2018, the production announced its cast with Henry Cavill as its lead. Now, after almost a year of waiting for a sneak peek of the show, The Witcher has finally released its first batch of character teasers.
The series is based on the book series with the same name and tells the story of Geralt of Rivia who is described as a solitary monster hunter who comes across the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg and a princess named Ciri. The three of them must navigate the increasingly volatile world together.

According to a report by Deadline, the first episode of The Witcher will premiere later this year.
