Why You Shouldn’t Be Scared to Cut Your Hair Short

It’s August and we still have four months left of 2018. Whether it’s been rainbows and sunshine for you or cloudy skies and rain, it’s never too late step up your hair game this 2018. I’ve worn my hair long for the past nine years and I’ve decided to cut my hair short.

Why should you step up your hair game in the middle of the year? First off, your crowning glory defines who you are. It’s one of the first things people see when meeting you and adds to first impressions. Even if you won’t be making any first impressions anytime soon, feeling good about your hair gives boosts of confidence in your daily life.

Second of all, it’s exciting. The feeling you get, that nervous yet hopeful feeling of seeing what short hair will look like on you is nothing but exciting! Thirdly, it magically transforms your look! Short hair normally makes any woman look younger and slimmer, and who wouldn’t want that? Lastly, it feels really cool! Living in the Philippines, the weather can make long hair humid and sticky with fly-aways. Having short hair means less time to style, too!

Thinking of where to get a short haircut? Vivere Salon in Uptown Mall has creative hairstylists who can produce unique yet wearable hairstyles that look great on any individual. Check out my hair transformation:
