Home is where the heart is, that’s how the Pitch Perfect 2 Star, Hailee Steinfeld, feels towards the Philippines.

The talented singer is in Manila and according to the news reports, she felt “at home” because of how her fans welcomed her with such warm hospitality.
Although, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Hailee has Filipino blood since her grandfather is from Bohol.
In fact, she tweeted the other day that she thought of her papa whilst eating Filipino food.

In an interview with Boy Abunda on Wednesday, Hailee said that her family has been talking about the Philippines and that she is glad that her music was finally able to bring her here.
She also added: “I’m so far away from home but I feel at home because of that,” quoted by the Philippine Star.
The 19-year-old actress/model will be showcasing her incredible talent to everyone in the following places:
- April 8 – Eastwood Mall at 7 PM
- April 9 – Uptown Mall at 5 PM
- April 10 – Venice Grand Canal at 3 PM
Hailee became popular when she portrayed “Mattie Ross” in the 2010 film, True Grit, which she got nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
On a personal note, I love Hailee as she was a product of homeschool, an alternative learning program, from 2008 until she graduated in High School last year.
In addition, my children and I love her! We are looking forward to Pitch Perfect 3!!
