She herself announced the news on Twitter, with the tweet, “I AM FINALLY COMING TO VISIT!,” with a series of Philippine flag emojis and the hashtags #HAILEEinMNL and #April.
She did not mention the purpose of the visit, but @mca_music is tagged in the tweet.
Steinfeld entered mainstream consciousness in 2010 when she starred in the Coen Brothers film True Grit, where she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress award at the Academy Awards. After three years, she starred in Pitch Perfect 2, where she showed her vocal prowess.
In 2015, she released her first album Haiz, with the singles “Love Myself” and “Rock Bottom.”
Could she be doing a concert? We’ll just have to find out.
