The Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather mega-fight is just a few days from now.

Tickets were sold. Pay-per-views were booked. People have chosen sides.

Apparently, even Pacquiao has purchased tickets for some 900 people, which will bill him around $3 to 4 million. The tickets are for his friends and family who will witness the historic bout at the MGM Grand Garden Arena this weekend.

However, reports say that after the fight, it is expected that he will earn back more than what he paid for whether he wins or loses.

According to a post from bleacher report, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum provided details on Pacquiao’s huge purchase on tickets:

Ticket revenue records are expected to be pummeled this weekend. And there might be no better indication of that than one person who will sit ringside after paying his own way: Pacquiao’s own promoter, Bob Arum.

Arum said he paid $10,000 for his front-row seat. And Pacquiao is footing the $3 million to $4 million bill for 900 tickets to pass out to his entourage, Arum said.

A limited number of tickets with sky-high price tags were made available to the public. With this high caliber boxing match, may are willing to pay a lot just to witness the event in person.

Aside from Pacquiao’s huge purchase, it is expected that Mayweather will also spend a lot of money for his sizable entourage.
