The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) organizers have officially announced which movies are going to be included in the lineup of the first-ever summer edition of the MMFF 2020.
The 8 official entries, chosen out of 24 submitted projects, are as follows:
1. “A Hard Day” by Lawrence Fajardo
A Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean action film. It will star Dingdong Dantes and John Arcilla.
2. “Tagpuan” by McArthur Alejandre
A romantic film starring Alfred Vargas, Shaina Magdayao, and Iza Calzado.
3. “Love the Way U Lie” by RC delos Reyes
A romantic comedy and fantasy film starring Alex Gonzaga, Xian Lim, and Kylie Verzosa.
4. “Isa Pang Bahaghari” by Joel Lamangan
A family drama movie starring veteran actors Philip Salvador and Nora Aunor, and Michael De Mesa.
5. “Love or Money” by Mae Czarina Cruz-Alviar
A romantic comedy movie starring Angelica Panganiban and Coco Martin.
6. “Coming Home” by Adolfo Alix, Jr.
A family drama film starring Jinggoy Estrada, Martin del Rosario, Edgar Allan Guzman, Vin Abrenica, Sylvia Sanchez, Ara Arida, Shaira Diaz, and Samantha Lopez.
7. “Ngayon Kaya” by Prime Cruz
A romantic film starring Paulo Avelino, Janine Gutierrez, John James Uy, Rio Locsin, Alwyn Uytingco, and Donna Cariaga.
8. “The Missing” by Easy Ferrer
A horror film starring Joseph Marco, Ritz Azul, and Miles Ocampo.

The Summer MMFF 2020 is scheduled from April 11 to 21 and will show in cinemas nationwide.
