5 Filipinos part of Forbes Asia’s 2020 “30 Under 30” List

Here’s something to be proud during this time: 5 Filipinos are part of Forbes Asia’s “30 Under 30” List for 2020. The list was released this April 2 and featured 300 different people in Asia who are game-changers of the generation.

The 5  Filipinos who are part of the list have all proved that they breaking barriers with their achievements and legacies. These Filipinos are multimedia artist Breech Asher Harani, PayMongo founder Francis Plaza, The Cacao Project founder Louise Mabulo, skateboarder Margielyn Didal, and gymnast Carlos Yulo.

In a statement, Forbes 30 under 30 Asian editor Rana Wehbe said that this list aims to inspire optimism to what is promising to be a tough year ahead. She mentioned that “these fierce game-changers are shattering gender, age and cultural stereotypes across industries.”

Other notable people on the list are K-pop girl group Twice, South Korean actress So-dam Park (known for her role in the Oscar-winning movie, Parasite), Japan’s racing prodigy Juju Noda, and Malaysia’s first hijab-wearing wrestler Nor “Pheonix” Diana. You can view the full list here.
