Henry Cavill, who is known for his iconic roles as Charles Brandon of ‘The Tudors’ and Clark Kent, recently came to the Philippines to promote his new Netflix fantasy series ‘The Witcher’, where he plays the protagonist Geralt of Rivia. He came with ‘The Witcher’ showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.
Sea of fans anticipates the presence of Henry Cavill and Lauren as the fan event host Matteo Guidicelli hyped up the fans. The fan event was conducted on December 12 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Fans of Henry Cavill and Lauren excitedly waited for them and brought their own souvenirs to be signed on from books to posters.
If you’re not familiar with ‘The Witcher’, it’s a book series by author Andrzej Sapkowski, which has also been turned into a role-playing fantasy game.

3. Giveaways of The Witcher Merchandise
There was no shortage of merchandise available at the fan event. From Geralt’s Wolf Medallion to posters, the fans got their fill of Witcher mechandise. Some fans brought their own collections of ‘The Witcher’ memorabilia, while others brought Superman figurines and fan art. Matteo entertained the fans by giving away ‘The Witcher’ goodies while we waited. Lucky us!
2. The Witcher Premiere Screening
One of the most exciting things that happened during the fan event was the screening of ‘The Witcher’’s first episode. Lauren and Henry introduced the first episode with excitement and passion, and we enjoyed the screening as we munched delicious popcorn. The series kept us all at the edge of our seats, making us crave for more of Henry Cavill and the show’s compelling storytelling.Â

The man of the hour didn’t disappoint as the sea of fans waited patiently for him to arrive. Lauren also signed stuff, as well. Henry took his time to sign every souvenir, taking selfies and even having quick chats with fans. According to Matteo Guidicelli, Henry Cavill is a Greek God and he’s not wrong about that. Who can resist the beautiful face of Henry and his fanboy heart?
After signing numerous posters, souvenirs, and goodies; Henry was interviewed by Matteo, where he described the show in three words: Fantasy, Murder, and Romance! We all had a great time at the fan event, seeing the hunky Henry and the brainy and beautiful Lauren.
You can now watch ‘The Witcher’ if you haven’t yet to get a large dose of Henry and to get your fill of a high fantasy genre now that ‘Game of Thrones’ is no more.
