The Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awards Foundation Inc. is once again calling youth groups across the Philippines to join the 16th Search for the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations.
TAYO Awards Foundation is the sole award-giving body that grants nationwide recognition to formal and non-formal youth organizations for their contributions in nation building through projects and programs that address challenges on education, environment, culture and the arts, livelihood, and health.
The TAYO Awards accepts entries from interested youth groups, barkadas, organizations, clubs, and societies that are composed of at least 5 members, 30 years old and below.
To join the TAYO Awards, organizations must accomplish the TAYO 16 entry form from the TAYO Awards Foundation’s website and send them to tayo16.entry@gmail.com. Deadline for submission of entries is on August 31, 2018.
Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
- Impact of project entry on stakeholders
- Harnessing the spirit of volunteerism and citizenship
- Creativity and innovation
- Sustainability and
- effective use of resources
The four best organizations in each category, regardless of which area they belong to, will be invited to the TAYO Week. An organization can submit multiple entries to different categories provided that the projects are different.
Our co-presenters Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc. and San Miguel Corporation, will grant Php 50,000 each to the ten winning organizations and Php 20,000 to the other organizations that will make it to the National Finals.
Apart from the prestigious recognition, the winning organizations will also receive an especially commissioned trophy sculpted by Mr. Toym De Leon Imao. They will also get a chance to be mentored by experts from TAYO’s partner NGOs and institutions.
