11 Reasons Why One Tree Hill Will Stay With Us – Always and Forever
11. Lucas Scott’s voice-overs introduced us to old literature.
Admit it: thanks to Lucas, we had our fair share of literature 101, from the likes of William Shakespeare, John Steinback, Henry David Thoreau, and many more.
10. They gave us places that we wanted to call home.
Whether the characters were all hanging out at Karen’s Cafe or whether there was an epic basketball competition at The River Court, they made us wish that such places actually existed. Can you just imagine how awesome it would be to attend a smashing concert at TRIC? ME, TOO.

9. Peyton Sawyer created amazing emotional art.
Peyton’s art is one of the most iconic things associated to One Tree Hill. Her artworks were always the output of her emotions especially containing the hard truth. People always leave?

8. Even the supporting characters played big roles.
Tim? Bevin? Jimmy Edwards? You name it, these characters may not have major storylines but they were all essential to the big picture. Who could ever forget the school shooting episode?

7. The Tree Hill Ravens reminded us of the importance of teamwork.
Even if you aren’t a real basketball fan, you must have enjoyed watching the Ravens play. I mean, who would not love watching Lucas and Nathan play, right? #yum
Shallow reasons aside, there came a time when the Ravens hit rock bottom, as well, yet still showed what every great team should possess: teamwork, trust, determination and heart. In the end, they won the State Championship that they lost the first time around.

6. They had solid character developments.
If One Tree Hill taught us anything, it is that people are capable of change. Take Dan Scott, for example. He was mostly a bad person throughout the show; but somewhere along the way, he realized he needed to make a change and he did. He stopped letting bad choices dictate his life and started becoming the person that people needed him to be. Most importantly, he saved a life.
