What’s nice about Sheridan Beach Resort and Spa is it’s near the attractions of Puerto Princesa. The boat port to the Underground River is just a walking distance from the resort. Sabang Beach is right in front of it. The Mangrove Park is a few minutes away. Also, it’s away from the city, so you’ll feel so much privacy during your stay.
5. It’s an #OOTD-worthy place.
Wear your sunniest summer outfits, flaunt your bod, and strike your best pose in front of the camera! The resort is so beautiful. Everywhere’s just picture perfect!
4. The first green resort in the Philippines
They use solar panels and windmills for their energy. There are little reminders in every room that encourage the guests to be earth-friendly, to reuse their towels and bed sheets, or save on water usage. They know how to preserve the beauty of nature and help in advocating and spreading awareness about it. I really appreciated how Sheridan took part in saving the environment. Way to go!
3. Their organic farm
This is one of the tours that I enjoyed the most. The 70-hectare farm was opened to support the need of South Sea Restaurant (yes, they get their ingredients straight from this farm). It’s fresh, it’s healthy, and it’s organic.

This is the only farm in Palawan that produces organic black rice. Don’t forget to purchase a bag or two to take home!
2. Even if there are a lot of guests, you will still have your personal space.
During our stay, the resort was almost full of guests. But even with people left and right, you can still get your alone time to do your own thing.

All in all, it’s the service that convinced us that Sheridan Beach Resort and Spa, indeed, is the perfect place to spend your Puerto Princesa retreat. All they want is for you to have the best experience you can ever have. I love how their staff treat their guests. And did I mention that they are natives of Palawan? This is because they want their guests to feel how the locals love their city and never want to spoil it. I say, it’s well-fitting.
