Hey Hey Hey!! Discovered something super cool when I went to Cavite the other day and I’m so thrilled to tell you all about it!
If you live in the south metro, there’s this awesome series of Christmas activities happening every weekends ’til Jan 3, 2016 at Lancaster New City Cavite that’s open to everyone!
The other day after sunset, everyone in the Lancaster New City neighborhood marched down by the playground center to witness the much awaited Christmas Lights Show as part of the holiday activities organized by Pro-Friends to bring happiness and holiday cheer to both its residents and visitors (like me).
We were all blown away with the entire spectacle of dancing flickering lights along with the upbeat Christmas songs that lingered in the entire neighborhood spreading bliss to all ears it reached.
After that dance of wondrous lights, Santa’s Little Helpers suddenly appeared and brought even more cheer as they whooped up a delightful dance performance. The crowd went wild and a blaze of gleaming smiles spread across the community. Witnessing this was simply magical!
But wait, there’s more!! After the lively dance number, the elves along with the Lancaster New City team brought out bags full of gifts then started the Santa’s Little Surprises Gift Giving Event which was the highlight that night!
Kids of various ages eagerly lined-up to receive their presents. This gift-giving activity for the residents was initiated by Pro-Friends to add more holiday delight and happiness to its home owners especially the kids! This is the first year that Lancaster New City organized a Christmas Light Show and Gift Giving event and they are expecting more and more people to join-in as their community continues to grow.
One by one, the elves gave out toys to over 300 kids who live in Lancaster New City Cavite. Their eyes went aglow in wonder as they hurriedly opened their presents…
The elf said Santa told him I was nice this year so I got a present too!!! =)
Hugs, laughter and kisses were everywhere… the Christmas spirit was definitely felt by everyone. The whole experience was so endearing. A family friendly city indeed! We definitely need more of this!

Since I was walking around talking photos, I also took the opportunity to ask some moms about the whole affair and they all expressed gladness and gratitude to the organizers for providing unforgettable activities for them and their kids.

The vibe that night was simply spectacular… how I wish I could live here as well. Such a lovely community to be in.
Aside from the Christmas Lights Show, Lancaster New City Cavite also features a Christmas Bazaar plus a Mini Banchetto that’s open to everyone!
Overall, I see so much potential with everything I witnessed and I believe many people will flock this place as soon as they hear about it. Congratulations and Big Thanks to Pro-Friends for making this event possible!
