February has just begun and When In Manila this signals the start of a number of occasions!
Sofitel, one of Manila’s 5 start luxury hotels, has recently reopened their flagship restaurant, Spiral.
With the same iconic Spiral staircase, Sofitel relaunches their restaurant with 21 different ‘Ateliers’ where master chefs create and recreate wonderful spreads.
This was my first visit to Spiral after the renovation and I was very, very impressed. Here’s a quick peek at some of my buffet favourites:

Sofitel has also lined up special programs to cater to your every whim for every single event coming. Enjoy the first half of the year celebrating with glorious food beautifully prepared by master chefs, and events carefully organized with first class hotel excellence.
Chinese New Year at Sofitel’s Spiral
Spiral also has a wonderful Chinese food lineup. I especially liked the roasted duck and their dim-sum corner.
You can celebrate the Chinese New Year at Spiral for a delectable, genuine Chinese spread. From February 4- 17 and 24, Executive Chinese Chef Chee Wah Mok will be preparing a special Chinese menu to usher in the year. This menu includes auspicious food such as Chinese Raw fish salad, Fish lip soup, scallops in XO sauce, and of course, the Peking Duck!
Private dining rooms to accommodate a party of 12- 36 people can also be booked for the festivities.
On the 9th and 10th of February, there will be a Dragon Dance, and on the 10th, Dubai based designer Albert Andrada will showcase his Orient Express collection.
