When in Manila and in need of awesome beauty services within budget, head over to Beauty and Butter in Megamall!
My academic requirements were sucking the life out of me, so I decided to take a break and made my way to Megamall with every intention of availing of a manicure, pedicure and facial. After hours upon hours of studying, I was definitely looking forward to getting pampered silly!
It’s hard to walk by Beauty and Butter without wanting to take a peek inside, the exterior and interiors are definitely attention grabbing as they are bursting with graphics and color. I remember stepping inside and taking a couple of minutes looking at the murals on the walls, it didn’t hurt that there were flat screen tv’s and colored chairs too.
After looking at their list of services, I settled with one of the packages that, surprise! Surprise! Comprise of a manicure, pedicure and facial (all that for P680). I sat down in one of their colored chairs and to say that I was relaxed would be an understatement. A lady came over and started with the facial which entailed cleansing, a scrub, a facial mask, a nose strip and my favorite, a back massage! At the same time, another lady began with my manicure and pedicure.
Oh, did I mention that other than being able to watch tv on flat screen tv’s and reading the latest magazines, if you avail of Php500 worth of services, you get to tinker around with Beauty and Butter’s Apple Ipad? Tell me, how many nail salons do you know offer this? That and other than making use of the usual OPI and Orly nail polish, they have an organic nail polish line called “Spa Ritual”.
“Spa Ritual” is a vegan nail lacqeur that is free of DBP, Tolouene, Formaldehyde, and Formaldehyde Resin thus it is very safe for nails and can last up to two weeks!
Overall, everything took about a hour (that includes drying time) which I found perfect since although I wanted to relax, I needed to get back to studying as soon as possible. Thank you so much to the lovely ladies of Beauty and Butter Megamall for pampering me and for being so nice and friendly!
