You Can Now Play Mario Kart On Your Phones

Mario Kart Tour came to Android and iOS last September 25, allowing you to play the classic Nintendo game on mobile for the very first time. While it probably won’t be too different from any other game in the Mario Kart series, the convenience of playing it anytime and anywhere on your mobile device is the only bonus we need.

The game’s playable characters include Princess Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, and of course, Mario. Pauline and Musician Mario of Super Mario Odyssey are said to be special unlockable characters. They’ll be racing on a variety of tracks, some based on real-life locations and some patterned after the Mushroom Kingdom. The usual obstacles and Power-Ups remain to make the race a little more interesting.

There will supposedly be 64 courses across 16 cups on Mario Kart Tour. This is made all the more fun with the multiplayer mode, which will let you race against 7 of your friends. As you gain points, win cups, and outrace all the other players you’ll find all that there is to unlock in this game.

Mario Kart Tour is free-to-play but will likely include in-app purchases.

Will you be trying out Mario Kart Tour? Let us know why or why not in the comments!
