LOOK: This Graphic Designer Imagined a Post-apocalyptic World with Couriers as Humanity’s Hope

Yevgeny Zubkov, a Russian illustrator and graphic designer, conceptualized a decrepit post-apocalyptic world where we see humanity reeling and receding. The cause is unclear but the message is direct — couriers are humanity’s last hope.

The series entitled “Born to Deliver” was recently posted on Zubkov’s social media. So far, it is a collection of 3 images depicting couriers in typical scenarios but using atypical means.

The first is of a man handing what seems to be pizza boxes to a hand protruding from a window. In a world where social distancing is of utmost importance, it is a mechanical arm that completes the delivery.

The second shows presumably the same courier picking up an order for another customer — from a business that seems to be completely run by artificial intelligence:
