Yamaha Apex Arrival 2023 Treats Filipino Moto Racing Fans with Fun and Thrills Last Weekend

Yamaha Philippines got to treat Filipino moto racing fans and motorcycle enthusiasts with a whole day filled with excitement and thrills!

Held on March 4, 2023 at the Clark International Speedway, the Apex Arrival 2023 event gathered Pinoys to the circuit to experience plenty of booths showcasing Yamaha racing merchandise and a program jam packed with exhibition rides.

Lucky YClub members were privileged with the chance to test some of YMPH’s BluisFast motorcycles in the morning, such as the Yamaha Mio Aerox, Sniper 155, YZF-R15M, and YZF-R3. Each member got the taste of how it is to race on the Speedway, entertaining the crowd the entire time.

But what truly got the adrenaline pumping was the arrival of world-renowned riders Fabio “El Diablo” Quartararo and Franco “Franky” Morbidelli! The two, alongside a few of our very own YMPH racers McKinley Kyle Paz, April King Mascardo, and Gian Carlo Mauricio, and even YMPH’s President Mr. Hoshi Koike put on an amazing exhibition race that put everyone in the audience at the edge of their seats! It truly was a spectacle to behold.

“It’s just beautiful to be here,” gushed Franky about being in the Philippines. “Keep believing, keep pushing [because] this country is where motorsport is going up and up. I already met some young riders, young promising riders, so hopefully we’ll see a Filipino rider one day at the MotoGP.”

Fabio, meanwhile, shared this message to all aspiring Filipino moto racers: “Enjoy, because it’s something that a lot of people want to do. Believe in yourself and dream about your goals. Dreams come true!”

As an added treat, two attendees in the audience were chosen to win an all expense paid trip to watch the Malaysia Grand Prix this November 10-13, 2023.

The Apex Arrival event indeed was a day to remember for all riders and racing fans. We are looking forward to the racing season this year with Yamaha!
