Are you excited to see some of the country’s brightest celebrities? The much-anticipated Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars will finally take place in Manila on Saturday, December 21.

In a Facebook post, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the parade will officially start at 2 PM. The event will run for 12 kilometers from Kartilya ng Katipunan to Manila Central Post Office.
Additionally, MMDA noted that several lanes along the parade route will be temporarily closed at noon.

The parade will also feature ten visually appealing floats showcasing the official MMFF entries this year, as well as a string of actors and personalities who are excited to meet and greet fellow fans.
Here is the complete route of the Parade of Stars on December 21:
- Natividad Lopez Street
- Right at P. Burgos
- Straight towards Jones Bridge
- Quintin Paredes
- Reina Regente Street
- Pass through Recto Avenue
- Abad Santos Avenue
- Tayuman Street
- Lacson Avenue – España Boulevard
- Nicanor Reyes St. (Morayta)
- C.M. Recto Avenue
- Legarda Street
- P. Casal Street
- Ayala Boulevard
- Taft Avenue
- T.M Kalaw Street
- Roxas Boulevard P. Burgos Avenue
- Take Jones Bridge
- Magallanes Drive
- Manila Central Post Office
Commuters and motorists are advised to plan ahead of time and take alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
The ten official MMFF entries will premiere in cinemas nationwide on December 25. The ten films are as follows: And The Breadwinner is…, Espantaho, Green Bones, Hold Me Close, Isang Himala, My Future You, Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital, The Kingdom, Topakk, and Uninvited.
The film festival will run until the first week of January next year. Meanwhile, the prestigious Gabi ng Parangal will occur on December 27 at the Manila Metropolitan Theater.
