13 Shops to Get Freshly Baked Focaccia Bread Delivered Right to Your Doorstep

This quarantine period made me fall more in love with bread, especially after seeing so many friends share their baked creations online. And since I’m no baker (and I’ve yet to personally partake in this trend of learning how to bake my own bread in the kitchen), I’m content with just having homemade loaves delivered right to my doorstep. Lately, I’ve been enjoying tons of focaccia bread from friends and small online businesses; here are just some of them you can check out!

Focaccia Manila specializes in creating beautiful “gardenscape” focaccia bread that will make your jaw drop (it did with mine)! Initially sent out to friends and family as a care package, these artistic creations gained so much traction online that there was no way they couldn’t have launched an online store to sell them to the public.

“Just look at the designs of our bread and you’ll see how ours are different from the others,” they told us. “Each bread has its own unique design. You may also order custom designs with names and messages. We do “Birthday Breads” as well!” The best part? They’re vegan!

Deliveries can be made all over the Metro through third-party couriers.

Candishhh Bakes is a passion project of longtime blogger Didi who delved into baking focaccia bread at home because of how much fresh rosemary she had stored in her freezer. Thanks to Chef E’s recipe, she was able to create a product that friends, family, and her many customers couldn’t help but fall in love with!

There are soooo many variants you could try depending on your taste and what you want your focaccia bread to be topped with. You can have it with the usual rosemary, tomato, and olives, or have it with caramelized onions and feta cheese, or even indulge in a malunggay-infused loaf. She also sells gluten-free alternatives so if you’re looking for focaccia bread that can complement your healthy lifestyle, look no further!

Otter Breads began with marketing professionals and good friends Paula Ferrer and Bianca Termulo focusing much of their efforts on making their own sourdough bread at home while under quarantine.

They make use of locally-milled unbleached flour and local sea salt to make their sourdough bread, while also heavily incorporating many local products such as Davao tablea and Sagada Arabica. Their focaccia is an off-menu item, so slide into their DMs to get your much-needed sourdough focaccia fix!

They also offer sourdough learning kits via Klook so you can learn first-hand how to make your own sourdough at home. Deliveries can be made all over the Metro through third-party couriers.

More Than Focaccia (or The Foc) is a concept bakery by Camcas Cervantes and Jake Pabelic that sells homebaked focaccia and foc-based comfort food. It started as a quarantine project of the two who wanted to perfect Cam’s favorite bread.

“The Foc allows you to indulge in sinful comfort food, but with the savory, elevated twist of a healthy focaccia base,” they share with us. Their menu features their classic rosemary focaccia bread, sandwiches, on-the-go loaves, and pizzas that are such treats to indulge in! Their range of products is currently still expanding, so keep an eye out for new items!

Deliveries are made every weekend, and all over the Metro.

La Focacceria Manila is all about bringing the focaccia italiana home to Manila. Owner Carissa was based in Milan for three years prior to moving back home last June due to the pandemic. Thanks to her friends who shared their family recipes for pizza- and bread-making, she was able to recreate the oven-baked goodness she misses the most.

“We promise to stay true to the Italian taste – both in terms of the bread itself as well as the flavors. The focaccia we serve has both l’altezza (height) and la morbidezza (softness) typical of focaccia italiana. The flavor combinations were selected and brainstormed together with my local Italian friends because I want to be certain that what you’ll get in Manila is the same as what I used to have in Milan. The lockdown has us all stuck at home and unable to travel for now, but at least you can have a taste of Italy with our focaccia!” Carissa shares.

Pick-ups are available at their Makati location through third-party couriers.

A post shared by DoughLuscious Focaccia (@doughlusciousfocaccia) on

DoughLuscious Focaccia started mid of July 2020. It was born out of owner Lucy Collada’s love of bread and her desire for a kind of focaccia that suits her taste with “fun” flavors.

This led her to create both classic and what she calls “Free Spirit Flavors” for those who’d like to try eating something unique and out-of-the-ordinary. She offers products like Bacon Is Lifer (Bacon Mozzarella), Stuffed 4Cheese, and her recently-launched Strawberry Snowflake.

“I wanted DoughLuscious to be bursting with different flavors and also look gorgeous. For people to stare at it for a while, to contemplate before eating it. To be more fun, unconventional, spontaneous, versatile, and free-spirited which is what a Focaccia is. Translating my personality to fun flavors and how we want customers to feel when they see it or eat it,” Lucy shares.

Deliveries can be made all over the Metro through third-party couriers. Make sure to check out the unique dips too!

28 Derby Bakery is a well-known name to those who’ve frequented weekend markets these past years. Owned by Miguel Santiago, this bakeshop started with the goal of making artisanal bread accessible to most. Their focaccia bread, among many of their other delightful baked creations, is a cut above the rest for the fact that it’s been tried and tested by chefs and foodies for the past three years. There are no disappointments here, no matter what you choose to indulge in.

Deliveries can be made all around the Metro for a minimum of PHP400 excluding delivery fees.

6. Kalore (@kalore.baked)

https://www.facebook.com/kalore.baked/

Kalore started out as simply a Focaccia bread that owner Diana Pile enjoyed baking for her family as a way of showing her love and appreciation for them while in quarantine. The name comes from the Italian word ‘calore’ which means ‘heat’ — a testament to Diana’s belief that food is always best served hot and fresh, just like her focaccia bread!

Diana also takes pride in the versatility of her focaccia, which is lovingly handmade with quality ingredients and topped generously with mixed herbs and Maldon Sea Salt flakes. “As recommended by my dad, it’s even better when you have Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar and Freshly Grated Parmesan cheese to dip your bread on. Some also enjoy it with simply butter or a cream cheese spread,” she shares with us. “My personal favorite is making the Focaccia into croutons to place on top my mom’s best tasting pumpkin soup!”

Deliveries can be made all around the Metro through third-party couriers. Pick-ups can also be arranged.

Cielo’s Kitchen PH was started by Cielo Umali whose love language is cooking. Her focaccia bread, along with other food products that she sells through her store, is purposefully created using tasteful yet nutritious ingredients that she swears make all the calories from each bite worth it. Her bread also has no fillers nor artificial preservatives, and made with good quality olive oil, home-roasted garlic cloves, fresh rosemary, and olives. It’s also best eaten with their jar of hummus!

Deliveries can be made all over the Metro through third-party couriers. Those living in the South can arrange pick-ups from their Alabang kitchen.

4. Bread at Burgos (@breadatburgos)

https://www.facebook.com/breadatburgos

Bread at Burgos is a family run business focused on developing healthy baked products to promote clean eating. The family started out as a franchisee for a popular local mass-market barkery in 2002, then switched to selling healthy bread in 2007, before eventually creating their line of “clean breads” in 2017, consequently laying the foundation for Bread at Burgos.

Their products have no preservatives, no additives, and no artificial coloring, and make use of unbleached wheat flour, sea salt, raw sugar, antibiotic-free eggs, coconut oil, and fresh produce. “We’ve been in the industry long enough to know the “shortcuts” and we make sure to avoid them. And during this time, while there’s no vaccine or cure, we want to be the reminder that food is medicine,” they shared with us.

They offer regular focaccia bread and, my favorite, the vegan flower focaccia which features tons of fresh toppings of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. In-house deliveries can be arranged for those living in Quezon City, Marikina, Mandaluyong, Pasig, San Juan, Makati, and Taguig. Otherwise, buyers can book via third-party couriers.

Nash & Noah’s focaccia bread is like a piece of art—it is presented as a “gardenscape” where herbs, tomatoes, olives, and beautiful edible flowers adorn its crispy top. It comes beautifully packaged inside a box too, making it a great gift to friends, family, and loved ones during special occasions, or even to just simply express your love and gratitude. Each order also comes with its own packet of balsamic vinegar!

2. The Yellow Blessed Kitchen (@theyellowblessedkitchen)

https://www.facebook.com/theyellowblessedkitchen

Yellow Blessed Kitchen is an online brand launched by Midz Narciso who had just retired from the corporate world and needed something to keep her busy amid a pandemic that affected her plans to set up her own events company. After successful tries at baking a variety of bread, she was encouraged by friends and family to sell them online.

“We wanted our baked goods to be a way to remind people of God’s promises and encourage them especially during these uncertain times,” Midz shares. “In each of our boxes, you’ll find one promise from the Bible and the hope is when you open the box and eat the treat, you’ll get a break from all the stress of the pandemic, to feel that you’re BLESSED by it.”

Her focaccia is specially made according to her customer’s preference so you can indulge in oven-baked goodness that suits your taste!
