Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been seriously dating for over a year, and while the two has kept mum on their relationship, the couple did make their first public appearance at the Invictus Games, which leads us to think that marriage may soon be in the offing!
Okay, while we could be getting ahead of ourselves speculating about marriage after a single public appearance, the two have made it clear in previous interviews that they are head over heels in love with each other. With rumors abound that the couple is moving in together in London, and that Meghan may give up her role as Rachel Zane on Suits so she could focus on her relationship with Prince Harry, the idea doesn’t seem so far-fetched now.
That said, if the two tie the knot, then what would Meghan Markle’s title be?
Kate Middleton, who was a commoner when she wed Prince William, was bestowed the title Duchess of Cambridge, after William inherited the title Duke of Cambridge when he got married.
Similarly, Meghan would receive the title “HRH Princess Henry of Wales” (but WON’T be a Princess — it’s complicated!), as well as another title should Prince Harry be given one. She could possibly be the Duchess of Sussex, as it’s speculated that Harry may become the Duke of Sussex when he is married.
