Kathryn Bernardo has a new nail and beauty salon that’s ready to pamper every Filipino in the city!
After her successful venture KathNails by KCMB, the young actress opened The Glow Up Lounge in SM City Grand Central. It’s posed to be the more luxe sister of KathNails, offering premium nail and lash services for every special occasion.
The atmosphere of The Glow Up Lounge is very vibrant yet cozy, with huge comfortable seats to ensure that every customer feels snug during the entirety of their stay. There are curtains dividing every seat too which is great if you value your privacy. The ambient music they play likewise adds to the salon’s calming vibe. (You might not even stop yourself from dozing off eventually!)
Safety is also prioritized as every piece of equipment used is disinfected with their UV sterilization machines.
There are plenty of services you can avail of at The Glow Up Lounge, from mani-pedis and brow threading to body waxing and eyelash enhancement. It’s highly recommended, though, that you experience their Glow Manicure with nail art. Their nail technicians are really skilled, patient, and attentive to detail that whatever Pinterest peg you present them with, it’s guaranteed that they’ll bring them to life in the almost exact way you envisioned—sometimes, they do it even better!
For my first visit, though, I only requested a simple pink ombré manicure without the nail extensions. And I super loved it!
Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to try their eyelash extensions, but it’s definitely something you should go for to bring more oomph to your eyes without needing to put on makeup or falsies all the time. They will let you pick between Classic (more natural with single strands), Volume (for those who want the fuller 3D lash look), and Hybrid (a combination of the two). The service, I was told, will take at least 1.5 to 2 hours—so make sure you’ve got a lot of time to spare during your visit!
The Glow Up Lounge is definitely going to be your new go-to spot for premium nail and lash services that will give you that glow-up you deserve while still within your budget.
