We Are Here and We Are Possible – The 11th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies of JCI Ortigas
On the 11th of February JCI Ortigas welcomed its new Board of Directors at Skye, W High Street Building with the theme “Sustainability: A Key Factor of Innovation”. JCI Ortigas’ new president Fitz Geraldine G. Pabalan carried with her newfound determination, guided by JCI’s precepts and principles, to work towards creating positive change in the community. Behind her, the new Board of Directors who will steadfastly stand and work with her to see that her visions are seen through.
Illac Diaz, social entrepreneur working in the ASEAN region empowering communities through the use of sustainable construction and appropriate technologies, was the night’s key note speaker. He was then followed by the National President of JCI Philippines, Christine Ponce-Garcia, who is also the guest speaker and inspired all guests regarding changing the future today. Members and guests alike found their talk riveting and something to aspire to. With the motivation from successful speakers and its new leader, a chance to interact with National officers and key industry leaders, and a captivating night overlooking much of Bonifacio Global City’s skyline, it was truly a night to remember.
