In Coldplay’s Yellow official music video, we saw Chris Martin walking towards the camera on an empty beach soaking wet as the sun rises above him. However, it seems that it was not always the plan as Coldplay shared a post on Instagram with never-before-seen footage from the video shoot of their hit song ‘Yellow’.

The band wrote in the caption, “Take 1 of the Yellow video (hidden in the vaults since 2000). There were loads of extras in this version, but it rained all day so we sent them home at 4 pm. Chris grabbed the cameraman and said ‘let’s just walk down the beach’. Worked out well in the end!”
