Today, I dedicate most of  my articles to Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) survivors and victims.

Earlier today, I shared my remarkable journey with VXI Philippines and Gawad Kalinga. You may read the full article here. We went to Tacloban last week and were hopeful no hindrances would come our way. As luck would have it, the skies were clear, although, it sprinkled a little.

In the tear-jerking video shared by VXI Philippines on Facebook, they invited five (5) survivors to share their stories of hope and resilience.

Through the generous partnership of VXI Philippines and Gawad Kalinga, P2.1M was donated for the housing projects, and to give assistance to the affected families.

On November 8, 2013, Philippines was hit by reportedly the deadliest typhoon recorded in the world. The large part of Tacloban and Samar were severely damaged. Three years after, the city is slowly regaining its natural resources by showing solidarity.
